What is dyslexia?

It is a particular combination of abilities and difficulties affecting short-term memory and the way the brain processes information, especially relating to speed, detail and order. It does not affect intelligence or creative skills. Although dyslexic people may have good understanding and be able to do many activities perfectly well, they will have surprising trouble with certain tasks.
